The Rise of Skywalker approaches. Just as Rey and Kylo’s journey nears its end – at least according to our favourite croaky old fossil Papa Palpatine – our journey through the Skywalker saga is also reaching its end.

This silly story about space wizards, weird aliens and a moisture farmer desperate for a life of adventure is something I think about every day, and have been for as long as I can remember. If you’re taking the time to read this, I’m sure Star Wars has left an impression on your life too.

So what better time to review the best moments from a galaxy far, far away. Over the next 50 days, I’ll be counting down my top 50 moments from the Skywalker saga. From subtle lines you may have missed, to moments that turned the tide of the galactic power struggle, there is a spot on the list for moments of all shapes and sizes – whether it’s a classic line of dialogue only Han Solo’s bravado could carry or one perfect shot to destroy a Death Star.
